Spokesperson for the Mataram District Court Kelik Trimargo explained that the two cases were related to the defendant's acts of sexual harassment and sexual intercourse with female students.
"According to the criminal verdict set by the panel of judges, the person concerned received a sentence of 16 years in prison," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 7.
He explained, Faisal in the case of sexual harassment against the female student was sentenced to seven years in prison. For the case of sexual intercourse, nine years in prison.
In the sexual harassment case, the judge also ordered the defendant to pay a fine of Rp. 10 million, which was followed by three months in prison. The fine for the sexual intercourse case was Rp. 20 million, followed by 10 days in prison.
Kelik Trimargo said Faisal, who is still a defendant in the two cases, was declared by the judge to be guilty of committing immoral acts by means of seduction.
"In the verdict read on Thursday (5/2), it was conveyed that what was done by the educator, education personnel, caused more than one person to be injured and resulted in severe injuries, mental disorders," he said.
These two cases of immorality are the result of the action of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
