JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned four witnesses related to the alleged corruption in the gas trading cooperation between PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk (PGN) and PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE) today. One of them is Rini Mariani Soemarno or Rini Soemarno as the Minister of SOEs for the period 27 October 2014-20 October 2019.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building," KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told reporters in a written statement, Friday, February 6.

In addition to Rini, investigators also summoned Sentot Harijady Bratjanto Tri Putro as Director of Gas Bumi of the Oil and Gas Upstream Regulatory Agency (BPH MIGAS) in 2020-2022; Tutuka Ariadji as Director General of Migas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2020-2024 who is now a lecturer at ITB; and Wiko Migantoro as Director of Pertamina Gas for the period August 2018-March 2022.

"Currently the examination is still ongoing," he said.

Meanwhile, for other witnesses, Budi was not present. "Only RMS who has fulfilled the call," said Budi.
