MEDAN - The Natural Disaster Management Task Force (Gulbencal) of Kodam I/Bukit Barisan (BB) has completed repairs to a concrete bridge in Hutanabolon Village, Tukka District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra to restore access for residents after the disaster in the area.

Asrul said that the concrete bridge can now be crossed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles normally after all the work is completed.
He said the bridge which is located on the Sigiring Giring River in the Environment IV of Hutanabolon Village, Tukka District, has been completed 100 percent.
"With the completion of the concrete bridge work, it is hoped that the access of people in the area will recover and activities will run smoothly," he said.
Kapendam said the final stage of concrete bridge repair work was carried out by soldiers from Kodim 0211/Tapanuli Tengah together with Yon TP 908/GD, Yon Zipur II/DD, Yon Zipur XI/DW, and Zidam I/BB.
"The last activities carried out include the demolition of the bridge's fence posts, checking the piers and bridge fences, and installing eight Red and White flags along the bridge," he said.
The Gulbencal Task Force of Kodam I/BB continues to work maximally to accelerate the completion of post-natural disaster work in the area.
