Bogor Regency Implements Traffic Engineering to Support the 2026 Central-Regional Government Rakornas in Sentul

Bogor Regency, West Java - The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, implemented traffic engineering to support the implementation of the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Central and Regional Government held in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday, February 2.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto in Cibinong, Sunday, February 1, stated that Bogor Regency is ready to host the rakornas through collaboration with the central government in preparing all the needs of the activity.

"We, the Bogor Regency government, are ready to receive directions and instructions from the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the central government, including in successfully implementing national strategic programs," said Rudy, quoted by Antara.

The Rakornas, which is centered at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Cipambuan Village, Babakan Madang District, was attended by around 4,473 participants from central government, provincial, and district and city elements throughout Indonesia.

As the number of participants increases, the Bogor Regency Government together with related agencies carries out traffic engineering from 05.00 WIB to 17.30 WIB to anticipate vehicle congestion around the activity location.

To support the smooth running of the rakornas, a temporary closure was carried out along the path to SICC. Vehicles from Pancakarsa to Sentul are diverted through the Victoria Park Market.

Meanwhile, traffic flow from Love Roundabout which leads to SICC is diverted through the Pasar Bersih in front of AEON Sentul.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto appealed to the public to anticipate potential traffic congestion during the rakornas and adjust the time and route of travel.

"The presence of thousands of participants is expected to increase the volume of vehicles on a number of roads leading to the Sentul area and its surroundings," Bima said in a statement.

He explained that security and traffic arrangements were carried out in a coordinated manner by involving joint personnel from the police, TNI, Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja, and the Transportation Service.

"We have coordinated with the Bogor Regency Government to ensure traffic arrangements to minimize congestion," he said.

Although various anticipation measures have been prepared, the government acknowledges that community activities around the location may be affected during the event.

"We apologize to residents who may be affected and invite the public to adjust their travel time and routes," said Bima.

The 2026 Central and Regional Government Rakornas is a national strategic forum to strengthen policy synergy between the central and regional governments, while prioritizing the smooth running of community activities in the host area.
