Maruarar Sirait asks the KPK to provide training at the Ministry of PKP: This year our budget has increased.

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Public Space (PKP) Maruarar or Ara Sirait asked to be accompanied by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Because, their budget this year is bigger than the previous year.

This was conveyed by Ara after meeting with the KPK leadership at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, January 21. He said that the assistance would be carried out through training led by the Inspector General of the Ministry of PKP.

"we will conduct training led by Mr. Inspector General at the end of January. We also ask for resources from the KPK because our budget this year has increased by 100 percent compared to last year. Last year (budget, ed) was around Rp. 5 trillion, this year Rp. 10 trillion," said Ara to reporters at the location.

Then, Ara also touched on the existence of a people's business loan (KUR) for housing with a value of Rp. 130 trillion. "Also subsidized houses that are on the ground, yes, 350,000. What is the total budget from the state, from the state of Rp. 35.2 trillion," explained the Gerindra Party politician.

"So how much trust the state and the DPR have in us that we have to take care of. And that increase, I think not many ministries have increased by 100 percent, last year Rp5 trillion and this year Rp10 trillion," he continued.

In addition, Ara also asked the anti-corruption commission to supervise the construction of subsidized apartment houses (rusun) in the Meikarta area, Cikarang, West Java. So that the process can run according to the law.

Moreover, the anti-corruption commission has stated that the land around the Meikarta Apartment is not a problem even though the case of bribery for construction permits has been investigated.

"And there is prevention, there are things that violate the rules," said Ara.

Meanwhile, Pahala Nainggolan, who is currently serving as a PKP Minister Expert, said his ministry also asked for assistance for home surgery assistance. Because, the number of recipients of assistance has now increased from 45,000 to 400,000 homes.

"Please look at it, first, don't give it to those who are not eligible, don't give it. Second, if you have been given it, there are more in the middle of the road," added Pahala.

"His name is giving Rp. 20 million, he likes all kinds of things. He wants to add it, if Rp. 20 million wants to build a house, please."
