Spokesperson for the Aceh Flood and Landslide Disaster Management Post, Murthalamuddin, said the number of refugees was spread across 988 evacuation locations in various districts/cities in Aceh.

"The most refugees are currently in North Aceh with 67,876 people, followed by Aceh Tamiang with 26,040 people, Gayo Lues 19,906 people, and Pidie Jaya 14,794 people," said Murthalamuddin.

In addition, a number of refugees who are still surviving are also recorded in East Aceh as many as 8,507 people, Central Aceh 8,021 people, Bireuen 5,895 people, Bener Meriah 2,116 people, Nagan Raya 1,763 people, Lhokseumawe 138 people, and Pidie 137 people.

Murthalamuddin explained that floods and landslides had caused significant damage to residents' settlements. A total of 148,819 units were reported to have been affected. In detail, 64,740 units were slightly damaged, 40,114 units were moderately damaged, and 29,755 units were severely damaged or lost.

He said the government together with related elements is currently continuing to spur the development of huntara for residents who are still staying in the evacuation, while waiting for the preparation of the construction of permanent housing (huntap) so that the affected people can immediately return to a safe and safe home.
