In the inauguration of the Balikpapan Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP), East Kalimantan, the president said these projects will enter the initial phase of implementation.
"This year, in the near future I was given a report, we will start 34 waste to energy projects, that is, we will change our garbage, we will clean it into electricity," said Prabowo as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 12.

Even though the tender will be opened soon, the President emphasized that this project needs time to be fully operational.
"We will now start 34 projects, the tender will be opened maybe these days. But this will take 2 years to function," added the President.
