After arriving at Jalan Raya Peltok, Plakpak, Pegantenan, the motorcycle driven by Sakdiyah was hijacked by the perpetrator who wanted to seize the gold bracelet used by the driver who was riding three people.
The driver panicked and lost control. The motorcycle swayed on the winding and descending road, then hit the store's support pole.
As a result of the hard collision, Sumriyeh died at the scene of the crime, while Sakdiyah and the other two drivers, namely Alfian, and Kayla, were injured.

Police Chief Commissioner Kompol Hendry Soelistiawan said the police were able to move quickly to make arrests thanks to footage from surveillance cameras belonging to residents around the scene of the incident.
"In Sampang, the upload of residents on various social media platforms about the perpetrators also helped us identify the perpetrators, until finally we were able to make an arrest," he said.
