Saudi Arabia Launches the Initial Phase of the Hajj Package Selection for Eligible Pilgrims

JAKARTA - The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the selection phase of packages for pilgrims under the Direct Hajj Program for the 2026 Hajj season, the ministry said.

This stage is available through the Nusuk Hajj platform and allows prospective pilgrims from eligible countries to review and compare service packages based on level, type of service and cost, as well as choose up to five options.

The ministry said this step is intended to help pilgrims make the right choice before the official booking phase, as well as provide initial insight to service providers to prepare for the upcoming season, quoted from Al Arabiya (9/1).

The platform offers digital tools including package comparisons, indicators that show demand trends, installment-based deposits through digital wallets, and access to a list of officially approved service providers.

The ministry urges pilgrims who meet the requirements to register or update their information on the platform and ensure the accuracy of personal data and documentation. Pilgrims are also encouraged to add family members who plan to perform the hajj in the same application to simplify verification and expedite approval.

The ministry reiterated that Nusuk Hajj is the only official and approved platform for Hajj services in countries covered by the Direct Hajj Program and warned against dealing with unauthorized or unaccredited providers.

It is stated that all deposits and reservations must be completed exclusively through the platform to protect the rights of pilgrims and ensure proper procedures.

This announcement only applies to countries that are included in the Direct Hajj Program. Hajj arrangements in other countries continue to be handled through approved local channels in accordance with applicable regulations, according to the statement.
