NAGAN RAYA - The Nagan Raya Regency Government of Aceh together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) requires all Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) to limit the purchase of special Solar fuel for goods transport vehicles or trucks to a maximum of Rp. 300,000 per vehicle per day.
In addition, every gas station is also required to separate the queue line between public transport vehicles and private vehicles with freight vehicles or trucks and prohibit queuing on the side of the road and illegal parking around gas stations because it can interfere with public order, road user safety, and the smooth flow of traffic.
The decision is contained in a joint circular to regulate the queue and arrangement of filling subsidized government fuel (BBM) at the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) in the local area.
"The issuance of this joint circular letter from Forkompimda is a follow-up to reports and complaints from the public," said the Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh, Teuku Raja Keumangan, Antara, Friday, January 9.
In addition to community reports, he said, this circular was issued based on field observations related to the occurrence of long queues for filling subsidized fuel types of Bio Solar and Pertalite at a number of SPBU in Nagan Raya Regency.
Regent Teuku Raja Keumangan said the issuance of the circular was aimed at maintaining order, security, safety, and the smooth distribution of fuel and traffic flow in the Nagan Raya Regency area.
"This step is also taken to prevent the accumulation of vehicles that have the potential to cause noise and commotion in the field," he added.
The Nagan Raya Forkompimda also asked that priority vehicles that must be prioritized in filling fuel include ambulances, vehicles for distributing social assistance after the flood disaster, and public transportation vehicles that are traveling to carry passengers.
"Gas stations are obliged to support the implementation of integrated supervision carried out by the Regional Government, TNI, Polri, and elements of the Nagan Raya Regional Forum," said Teuku Raja Keumangam.
If there are gas stations that do not comply with the provisions in the joint circular, they will be subject to administrative sanctions and operational restrictions, ranging from the revocation of business licenses to other criminal sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
"Through this Joint Circular, we hope that the management of subsidized fuel distribution in Nagan Raya Regency can run more orderly, fair, and targeted, and provide convenience for the community," said the Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh, Teuku Raja Keumangan.
