JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has scheduled the summoning of suspects from cluster 1 of the case of the false graduation report of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"The summoning of the suspect of cluster 1 is scheduled in January 2026 along with the adjustment of the match of the new Criminal Code," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, Thursday, January 8, 2026.

As is known, cluster 1 consisting of Eggi Sudjana (ES), Kurnia Tri Royani (KTR), Muhammad Rizal Fadillah (MRF), Rustam Effendi (RE), and Damai Hari Lubis (DHL) has been named a suspect on November 7, 2025 by the Polda Metro Jaya.

Budi explained that the summoning of the cluster 1 suspect was also scheduled together with the examination of experts and witnesses submitted by Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauzia Tyassuma.

However, Budi has not been able to specify the time for summoning the suspects and the examination of experts and witnesses.

Regarding the submission of an independent forensic examination filed by Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and Tifauzia Tyassuma, Budi explained that it was still under discussion.

"The forensic submission filed by Roy Suryo Cs is currently under discussion by investigators together with the supervision of other investigators and other supervision from within the National Police," said Budi.

Previously, Roy Suryo's lawyer, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and Tifauzia Tyassuma asked the Polda Metro Jaya to conduct a forensic test on the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) independently.

"Request that a forensic laboratory test be carried out that is independent, with credible, transparent, accountable, and accountable results by all parties," said Roy Suryo's lawyer, Khozinudin, at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on December 22, 2025.

He explained that the request for an independent forensic examination came from his experience in various major cases that indicated anomalies in the law enforcement process.

"One of them is the case of the murder of Brigadier General Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat, which was initially described as a shootout, but was later proven to be a premeditated murder after an independent re-forensic examination was carried out," said Khozinudin.
