He said the incident began when Hasan, along with Ali and Umar, who were also his children and nephews, boarded a sampan on the DK-1 River in Dataran Indah Village, Gampong Peunaron Baru, East Aceh Regency.
Suddenly, he said, the boat the farmers were riding was attacked by a crocodile and their boat overturned. Ali and Umar survived and managed to get out of the river in the interior of East Aceh Regency.
"The survivors were reported not to have been injured. However, both of them were traumatized and needed rest after being thrown into the river and managed to save themselves from the crocodile attack," he said.
