JAKARTA - The West Jakarta City Forestry and Parks Office has cut down 60 trees spread across eight sub-districts as a precautionary measure against falling during extreme weather.
Head of the West Jakarta City Forestry and Parks Service (Tamhut), Dirja Kusuma, said that one of the points focused on was Jalan Panjang, Kelapa Dua Village, Kebon Jeruk District.
"The total number of trees that were topped today was 60," said Dirja, quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 3.
His party deployed 116 personnel and 17 trucks for the simultaneous pruning activity.
