379 Kg of Methamphetamine Seized by Fredy Pratama's Network, South Kalimantan Police Claim Maximum Performance

JAKARTA - The South Kalimantan Regional Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) and 13 Regional Narcotics Units of the ranks have succeeded in confiscating 379,625.13 grams or approximately 379 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from the network affiliated with international narcotics kingpin Fredy Pratama throughout 2025.

"The seizure of this evidence is mostly from the results of large expressions controlled by the Fredy Pratama network," said the Director of Resnarkoba Polda Kalsel Kombes Baktiar Joko Mujiono, ANTARA, Friday, January 2, 2026.

Apart from crystal meth, said Baktiar, Fredy's network also often smuggled ecstasy, which in 2025 a total of 135,824 ecstasy was seized.

Baktiar claimed that from the data it could be seen that his party's maximum performance in efforts to eradicate narcotics, especially uncovering large cross-provincial and even international networks.

"Uncovering the smuggling of large amounts of narcotics is not easy, the mode is diverse and always changing," he said.

Even so, Baktiar emphasized that his party would never give up and continue to try to work as hard as possible with all available resources to uncover the circulation of drugs.

It is proven that the achievement in 2025 exceeds the results of the 2024 disclosure with evidence of 312,999.24 grams of methamphetamine and 118,942 ecstasy pills.

Meanwhile, in terms of the number of cases and suspects, it actually decreased compared to 2024.

Throughout 2025, there were 1,554 cases and arrested 1,842 suspects. Meanwhile, in 2024, the South Kalimantan Police recorded 1,743 drug cases, arresting 2,230 dealers.
