JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has reopened the Jakarta Planetarium for the general public to visit. Just a few days after it opened, it turned out that there were already brokers who took advantage of the public's high enthusiasm to sell Planetarium tickets at prices many times higher.

One of them is the Threads account @__cannotwaste which openly sells Planetarium tickets at a rate of Rp30 thousand per ticket. In fact, the manager priced Planetarium tickets at Rp10 thousand.

"WTS (want to sell) Planetarium Jakarta, there are 6 yes, show 2 and 3, price 30/ticket," wrote the Threads account @__cannotwaste.

Responding to this, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung emphasized that he had instructed the management to prevent individuals from using the Planetarium ticket to be sold back to others at a high price.

"I have ordered that there should be no middlemen," said Pramono when met at Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 29.

Pramono also asked PT Jakarta Propertindo, a regional business entity (BUMD) tasked with managing Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) to take firm action against the brokers.

"If there are corruptors, I ask the CEO of Jakpro to take responsibility," said Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono also admitted that the public to visit the Jakarta Planetarium which has been reopened since December 25 is very high.

Even the visit tickets are often sold out in a short time with 75 percent of tickets sold online (online) and 25 percent of tickets sold on the spot. Diokasi, many visitors came but couldn't buy tickets because the purchase quota was full.

"It just so happens that yesterday I went to the Planetarium and indeed the complaint was just opened that it was full booked until December 31. Even though there are many residents who then want to use it for vacation," said Pramono.

The public's complaints that they could not enjoy the space simulation show because they ran out of tickets made Pramono decide to change the ticket sales scheme to be more fair to visitors.

Later, out of 200 tickets per show, 50 percent will be sold online, and 50 percent will be sold on the spot or provided directly at the Planetarium location.

"I have decided, 50 percent is online, 50 percent is directly ticketing at the location. Because I pity many people who have come from everywhere, especially from the region," he concluded.
