Police Arrest Two Perpetrators of Curanmor Armed with Airsoftgun in Tanjung Priok

JAKARTA - Tanjung Priok Police secured two perpetrators of motorcycle theft who often carried softgun water guns on Jalan Swasembada Barat XV, Kebun Bawang, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

The two perpetrators are known as MRS (21) and MA (24). The arrest began from the suspicion of residents of two people riding a motorcycle and suspicious.

When stopped and wanted to be questioned, one of the suspected perpetrators took out a soft gun. Then the perpetrator tried to escape, but was successfully arrested by residents.

"From the results of the initial examination and the search for CCTV footage, the two perpetrators are suspected of having stolen a Honda PCX motorcycle on the same day in the Warakas area, Tanjung Priok," said Tanjung Priok Police Chief Commissioner R. Sigit Kumono when confirmed, Monday, December 29.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Handam Samudro, said the motorcycle belonged to the victim with the initials AH (29).

The police also secured a number of evidence in the form of clothes used by the perpetrators, CCTV footage, the victim's vehicle registration certificate and motorcycle key, as well as one soft gun.

"Both perpetrators are still being investigated. We are investigating the involvement of the perpetrators in similar cases," he said.

Currently, the two perpetrators are still under police investigation. The police are also continuing to develop the case.
