Tuesday's Weather, BMKG Forecasts Light Rain in Several Jakarta Areas

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the capital city of Jakarta on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, will be dominated by cloudy clouds with the potential for light rain in several areas throughout the day.

According to weather forecast data released by BMKG, most of Jakarta is expected to experience cloudy conditions with light rain, especially in the afternoon and evening.

This condition is in line with the general weather pattern in DKI Jakarta at the end of December which still shows high humidity and the possibility of light rain.

BMKG stated that the weather in Jakarta on Tuesday is predicted to be cloudy with the potential for light rain in several areas throughout the day, driven by still high air humidity.

In addition, based on the early weather warning from the DKI Jakarta BPBD, quoting the BMKG, residents are asked to remain vigilant because the potential for light to moderate rain is expected to last until the weekend.

"Early warning weather for the period of 19-26 December 2025 shows the potential for rain with light to moderate intensity in the DKI Jakarta area," wrote the official BPBD report, quoted from BMKG.

The forecast for the air temperature in Jakarta ranges from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius with high relative humidity, supporting the formation of rain clouds.

BMKG emphasized that the public should always monitor weather developments through their official channels and prepare umbrellas or raincoats if they are outside.
