JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the Regent of Bekasi Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK) was allegedly routinely asking for ijon or project money to Sarjan (SRJ) as a provider of project packages in the Bekasi Regency Government since December 2024.

Asep further explained that the case began when Ade Kuswara was elected as the Regent of Bekasi for the 2025-2030 period.

From these communications, Ade Kuswara routinely asked for project money in the past year through his father's intermediary, namely the Head of Sukadami Village, South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, HM Kunang (HMK), and other parties.
"The total 'ijon' given by SRJ to ADK together with HMK reached IDR 9.5 billion," he said.
He said the total money was given up to four times through intermediaries.
Previously, the KPK carried out the tenth hand-in-hand operation (OTT), and arrested ten people in Bekasi Regency, West Java, on December 18, 2025.
