Today the KPK Examines Zarof Ricar Related to the Money Laundering Case of Former Sekma Hasbi Hasan

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will examine the former Supreme Court (MA) official Zarof Ricar today, December 15. He will be questioned regarding alleged money laundering (TPPU) crimes that ensnared former MA Secretary Hasbi Hasan.

"The KPK has scheduled a summons to examine ZR as the former Head of the Legal and Judicial Training and Research Center of the Supreme Court," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Monday, December 15.

Budi said Zarof would be summoned as a witness. It has not been detailed what material will be investigated from the former MA official.

Meanwhile, Zarof is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence. He was found to have problems in the case of evil collusion and received gratification related to Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal in the case of the death of Dini Sera Afrianti.

As previously reported, the KPK has ensnared the former Secretary of the Constitutional Court, Hasbi Hasan, for receiving bribes related to the handling of the Intidana Cooperative Savings (KSP) case at the Constitutional Court together with former Independent Commissioner of Wijaya Karya (Wika) Dadan Tri Yudianto. This case was then developed, in addition to being related to bribes but also money laundering (TPPU).

The anti-corruption commission has not detailed the suspects in the TPPU Hasbi Hasan case. But, from the information they received, they are Hasbi Hasan, singer Windy Idol, and Rinaldo Septariando B as a businessman who is also Windy's older brother.
