Prosecutor's Office Names Former President Director Of Bank NTT Suspects Of Coupling Tens Of Billions

The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) High Prosecutor's Office has named the former President Director of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur with the initials Harry Alex Riwu Kaho (HARK) as a suspect in a corruption case worth IDR 50 billion.

Head of the NTT Prosecutor's Office, Roch Adi Wibowo, said that the determination of the suspect was carried out after the person concerned was examined as a witness by the Special Crime Investigator of the NTT Prosecutor's Office.

"So, today the investigators of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office have named HARK as a suspect in the alleged corruption in the purchase of securities from the memorandum memorandum note amounting to Rp 50 billion from PT SNP Finance by Bank NTT," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 12.

Kajati said that based on the results of the investigator's examination, two pieces of evidence were obtained to determine HARK as a suspect in the alleged corruption case.

In this case, investigators have examined 73 witnesses and named five suspects, including HARKyang in 2018 as Head of the Treasury Division of Bank NTT.

The other four people who have been named as suspects are LD as the owner of the benefits orbeneficial owner of PT SNP, then DS as the former Director of Investment Banking of PT MNC Sekuritas 2014-2019), AI as the former Acting Director of Capital Market of PT MNC Sekuritas, and AE as the former Head of the Fixed Income Division of PT MNC Sekuritas.

They are suspected of being involved in the sale scheme of MTN PT SNP worth IDR 50 billion to Bank NTT in 2018, using manipulated financial reports and the provision of unofficial fees that significantly harm state finances.

The determination of PARK as a suspect was carried out on Tuesday (10/12), but today HRK was summoned as a witness as well as a suspect.

Not only was he named a suspect, investigators also immediately detained the former Director of Bank NTT at the Class II B Kupang State Detention Center (Rutan).

"We immediately detained the suspect for the next 20 days starting today," he said.
