Arrested By Police In Bali, Badminton Blue Doesn't Make Porn Content, But Game Is Exciting

DENPASAR - Polres Badung, Bali, explained the latest developments related to the handling of a case of alleged pornographic content involvingten Blue (26) and a group of Foreign Citizens (WNA) in a studio in the Perreenan area, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali.

Badung Police Chief AKBP M. Arif Batubara said a total of 20 foreigners and 14 Indonesian citizens (WNI) were arrested at that time.

"Along with a number of evidences in the form of cameras and contraceptives," said AKBP Arif Batubara, Wednesday, December 10.

Four British and Australian foreigners with the initials T.E.B. or badminton Blue, LAJ, INL and JJTW were examined intensively.

From the results of the examination of 16 foreign witnesses, all admitted to being in the studio to participate in the process of creating entertainment-themed reality show content.

They admitted that the activity was engineered to make it look fun and interesting on social media, but emphasized that there was no pornographic element in it.

The same thing was also conveyed by 14 Indonesian citizens who worked as studio crew. They confirmed the rental of the studio and confirmed that no pornographic content was produced.

"They claim to have known about the ban on the production of pornographic content in Indonesia. Investigators also examined videos that had been made at hotels in the Berawa area (in North Kuta). However, there were no elements of pornography or the spread of content that violated the law," said AKBP Arif.

In addition, criminal experts who are asked for opinions also emphasize that elements of violating the pornography law and the ITE Law have not been fulfilled, unless it can be proven that there is a production or distribution of content that is not for personal consumption.

Then from the results of the exposure with the Badung District Attorney's Office (Kejari) also stated that although a private video was found containing sexual content on the cellphone of one of the reported parties, the content was not distributed to other parties so it did not fulfill the criminal element.

However, if it is found spread on social media or on other platforms, of course, further legal steps will be taken and at this time it has not been found.

But on the other hand, the immigration team in Bali also found indications of other violations.

Four reported parties are suspected of misusing residence permits for using Limited Stay Permit Cards (KITAS) and tourist visas to work on making commercial content.

In addition, investigators also examined the purchase and use of pickup vehicles that read, "Bonnie Blue" and "Bang Bus", which are suspected of being used as content manufacturing properties.

AKBP M. Arif Batubara emphasized that the investigation was carried out in a professional and objective manner.

"We ensure that the entire process is carried out based on legal facts and carrying out joint investigations together with immigration and pornographic elements. So far it has not been fulfilled, but there are strong allegations of violations of the road law, as well as immigration violations that we are still investigating," he said.

"That the Badung Police will continue to coordinate with the prosecutor's office and immigration to determine the next legal steps," he said.
