The Finding Of A Woman's Body In Gunungputri Bogor, The Police Revealed That The Suspected Perpetrator Was Known

The Bogor Police revealed new developments in the investigation into the discovery of the body of a woman in the Tlajung Udik area, Gunungputri, Bogor Regency, West Java, by confirming the identity of the alleged perpetrator who is currently being chased.

Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto said the Bogor Police Pamapta and Inafis teams had moved since the beginning of the incident to collect data and confirm the identity of the victims and perpetrators.

"Yesterday it was investigated, there were already suspected perpetrators, we have been chasing them," he said in Cibinong, Antara, Wednesday, December 10.

He explained that the victim's body was first taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy. Although the autopsy results have not been received, initial identification from the Inafis team confirmed the victim with the initials A, a resident of Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.

"The autopsy results are still waiting, but from the identification, we have found the person concerned," said Wikha.

This development reinforces the allegation that the victim died not in an ordinary accident. When asked about indications of a criminal act, Wikha said there was most likely an element of murder.

"Most likely," he said briefly.

Previously, the victim was found on Saturday (6/12) afternoon at around 17.30 WIB by a resident named Hendra in a prone position next to a parked angkot. The discovery triggered an investigation by the Gunungputri Police who immediately carried out the scene.

The police also received important testimony from a resident named Mohamad Hakim, who saw the victim still being carried by a motorcyclist with his hands tied and feet dragged on the road a few moments before the victim was found.

This testimony is now one of the reasons for investigators to narrow the identity of the alleged perpetrator who was last seen with the victim. The police also examined a number of additional witnesses to strengthen the construction of the incident.

The Bogor Resort Police ensures that the pursuit of the alleged perpetrator continues to reveal the full motive and chronology of the victim's death. "We are still investigating all possibilities," said the Police Chief.

Until now, investigators are waiting for the autopsy results as an important part in determining the cause of death of the victim before determining the next legal steps.
