Mayor Agustina Affirms Strengthening Sustainable Food And Environmental Quality Is A Priority For Semarang Development 2026

SEMARANG Mayor of Semarang, Agustina Wilujeng opened the Outlook Ekonomi 2026 event at the Khas Hotel Semarang, Tuesday (9/12). The main theme raised was Semarang Tangguh through the Sustainable Food and Green Economy System.

"What do we want to talk about this event for 2026, so that each of these stakeholders can prepare to synergize and build the city of Semarang in 2026," said Agustina.

According to Agustina, environmental issues are no longer just a complement, but rather a determinant of city economic stability and sustainability. A strong economy cannot be built without strong environmental security and food systems. Therefore, the Semarang City Government places food security and environmental quality as the foundation for the development of the 2025 2029 RPJMD.

Agustina hopes that Semarang can grow greener, more inclusive, and more resilient. This commitment aims to realize Semarang which will be even greater and more resilient in 2026. Moreover, Strengthening a Sustainable City Food System and Improvement of Environmental Quality' is a priority theme for the development of Semarang City Region in 2026.
