SEMARANG - Pemerintah Kota atau Pemkot Semarang bersama Satlantas Polrestabes akan menerapkan pengalihan arus lalu lintas pada Minggu (7/12) pagi hari besok mendukung kelancaraan kegiatan kirab Tradisi Ketahu Pamit serta Pelepasan dan Penerimaan Taruna Akade Polisi (Akpol) sebagai warga kehormatan Kota Semarang.

The Akpol youth carnival will start from Jalan Pemuda in front of the City Hall to Pandanaran and end on Jalan Pahlawan in front of the Central Java Police. The Taruna Akpol carnival is expected to involve hundreds of participants. Therefore, traffic engineering is implemented to maintain public safety and comfort.

The Mayor of Semarang, Agustina Wilujeng said that the closure and diversion of traffic flow were carried out as an anticipatory measure so that activities would run in an orderly manner without disrupting residents' activities.

"We carry out traffic security and regulation to ensure that the series of activities of the Akpol cadets' carnival runs smoothly. We ask for the public's understanding of the adjustment of this temporary route," said Agustina.

To support the smooth running of events, several arrangements and flow diversions will be implemented, including the Paragon Roundabout being enforced over situational flows. The Youth Street uses a special lane for the carnival, with traffic flow continuing to flow in other lanes. Howls The flow of vehicles at the end of Pandanaran to Tugu Muda is diverted to Dr. Sutomo Automo Simpang Eka Karya Bergota was diverted towards Pandanaran because the route from TL Kyai Saleh to Bergota was closed, including access from Pekunden Street. Fatima Zahra's traffic Light was diverted to the left via Kampung Kali Street. KFC Simpang Lima Traffic Light was temporarily closed when the carnival stopped performing the attraction.

Dishub officers and police will be placed at diversion points to help direct road users and keep currents under control.

Agustina invites the community to adjust the traffic engineering that is enforced and follow the directions of officers in the field. "We hope that the community can support the smooth running of this event as a form of respect for the Akpol cadets and pride for the city of Semarang," he added.
