TKD Drops 70 Percent, Tana Tidung Regency Government Maintains Public Service Priority

TANA TIDUNG (Regency Government) Tana Tidung made significant adjustments to a number of fiscal policies, following the significant decline in Transfers to Regions (TKD) in the 2026 fiscal year. Tana Tidung Regent, Ibrahim Ali, said that the decline in TKD next year (2026) is far from normal conditions. So far, Tana Tidung's APBD is in the range of IDR 1.1 trillion to IDR 1.5 trillion.

"If we count with our existing TKD, in the past our money was usually Rp1.1 trillion, then our usual APBDP was at Rp1.3 trillion to Rp1.5 trillion. It means that in 2026 we already have an idea that our TKD only exists at Rp505 billion. That's a long way from its derivative, "said Ibrahim, Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Ibrahim revealed that this decline has the potential to disrupt a number of programs that have been formulated in the RPJMD and RKPD. The priority program, which is his political promise with the Deputy Regent of Sabri.

"This is our political promise during the campaign and we will be held accountable. After being inaugurated, we compiled the RPJMD which was passed down to the RKPD and began to be executed in 2026," he explained

However, even though TKD was sent down, Ibrahim was determined that his party would ensure that basic services such as health, education, and infrastructure would not be reduced.

"We cannot reduce health services, education, then also related to infrastructure. We have reviewed and calculated it," he said.

Regent Ibrahim said that one of the adjustment steps taken was the option to reduce ASN's Additional Employee Income (TPP).

"Friends of ASN, God willing, their TPP will be sincerely reduced. Even if it is reduced, we will continue to look at the condition of the APBD. I am committed when conditions are stable. Hopefully, it will be returned by the central government," he said

"Right now, we are supported by the private sector, oil palm plantations are already running, plasma is already there. This means that everything will be boosted from the private sector to help our economy," he concluded.
