Revenge Motive, 19-year-old Youth Has The Heart To Kill Neighbors In Indramayu

Indramayu Police Satreskrim arrested DM (19), a man suspected of killing his neighbor, Suhaema (52), a resident of Krangkeng Village, Krangkeng District, Indramayu Regency, West Java.

Suhaema was found dead covered in blood on Friday, November 21 in her room with stab wounds to her neck, stomach, and head. At the time of the incident, the victim was alone at home, while her husband was in Majalengka.

Kasatreskrim Indramayu Police, AKP Muchammad Arwin Bachar revealed, the investigation showed that the perpetrator had an old grudge against the victim's family. Suhaema's family is said to often turn on music with a very loud voice that makes the perpetrators annoyed.

"One of the motives is the perpetrator's grudge because the victim's family often turns on loud music without knowing the time," said Arwin, Friday, December 5.

Prior to the murder, DM entered the victim's house and targeted the source of the noise that had been bothering him. He took the victim's cellphone and soaked it in the bathroom. The perpetrator also cut the sound device using scissors.

Arwin explained that the action had been planned. The perpetrator carried a knife from home, observed the condition of the victim's house, then entered through the window when the situation was quiet. DM hid behind the wall of the dining room waiting for the victim to arrive.

When the victim entered, the perpetrator immediately attacked him with a knife that had been prepared. The victim suffered several stabs to death at the scene.

"The suspect carried out the action alone and had prepared a knife from home," said Arwin. The police confiscated a number of evidences, including the perpetrator's sandals, the knife used, the victim's cellphone and the perpetrator's, as well as the clothes of the two.

DM was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder with the threat of life imprisonment or the death penalty.
