Central Java Police Officer Fired In Connection With The Death Of A Female Lecturer

The Central Java Police's Professional Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) handed down a dishonorable dismissal decision against AKBP B regarding the death of a female lecturer at a university in Semarang City with the initials D (35) who was found dead in one of the lodging rooms on November 17.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, said that the professional code of ethics trial against AKBP B was held at the Central Java Police Headquarters on Wednesday (3/12).

"In the trial 7 witnesses were heard," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, December 4.

As for the considerations of the decisions handed down by the Central Java Police KKEP, he said, namely the act of AKBP B had reduced the image of the Police, violations of religious norms and decency, and infidelity.

AKBP B, he continued, was proven to have a close relationship with lecturer D, and even included his name in the Family Card without the knowledge of his legal wife.

The alleged offender is also known to have stayed at the hotel with D, before being reported dead on November 17, 2025.

The incident, he continued, was considered to have damaged the positive image of the Police.

Regarding the decision, said Artanto, the alleged violator stated that he would file an appeal.

Previously, a woman with the initials D who was a lecturer at a university in Semarang was found dead at an inn on Jalan Telaga Bodas, Semarang City, on Monday (17/11).
