JAKARTA PT Indobuildco won a lawsuit against the Ministry of State Secretariat at the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). The panel of judges canceled the order to vacate the Sultan Hotel area as well as the cancellation of a royalty bill of US$45 million for the use of land with HPL status from 2007 to 2023.

The decision is stated in Case Number 221/G/2025/PTUN.JKT and read out through the e-Court system on Wednesday, November 3, 2025.

PT Indobuildco's attorney, Hamdan Zoelva, explained that the lawsuit was filed due to a procedural defect and a substantive defect in the decree issued by the Ministry of State Secretariat regarding land acquisition of HGB No. 26/Gelora and HGB No. 27/Gelora, as well as royalty collection.

According to Hamdan, the panel of judges granted all the applications submitted by his party after considering the legal basis and facts of the trial.

"Alhamdulillah, our lawsuit was fully granted by the Jakarta TUN Court," said Hamdan Zoelva.

With this decision, Hamdan stated that PT Indobuildco finally received legal certainty over the status of the disputed land. He hopes that the government respects the decision and takes steps according to the applicable legal mechanism.
