Today, 2 Investigators Examined By The KPK Council Regarding Allegations Of Obstructing Bobby Nasution's Examination

JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of two investigators today, December 4. One of them is the head of the task force (kasatgas) of investigators, Rossa Purbo Bekti.

"It's true, two investigators, Rossa and Boy were questioned at 10:00 WIB today," said KPK Council Chairman Gusrizal to reporters, Thursday, December 4.

This examination follows up on reports of alleged efforts to hinder the summons of North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution in the alleged bribery of road construction projects at the North Sumatra Province Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office and the Regional 1 National Road Development Work Unit (PJN) North Sumatra. Rossa became the party reported to the KPK Council.

The inspection was held at the ACLC KPK Building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

As previously reported, the Indonesian Student Activist Coalition (KAMI) reported Rossa for allegedly hampering the investigation into the involvement of the son-in-law of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the corruption case of a road project in North Sumatra. The report was made on Monday, November 17.

"There are allegations that related to this case, one of the Head of the KPK Task Force allegedly on behalf of AKBP Rossa Purba Bekti," Yusril told reporters at the ACLC building or the KPK Council office, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

"Therefore, we, the Indonesian Student Activist Coalition, today provide information and reports," he continued.

"WE, still said Yusril, are demanding the KPK to conduct an evaluation. And a total internal audit," he said.

According to Yusril, it is appropriate for the KPK Council to examine Rossa. This is because there are many indications of Bobby's involvement as the son-in-law of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the bribery case of a road project in North Sumatra.

Similarly, Usman as our Secretary also mentioned that Bobby should be examined. "But to this day what KPK friends have done today has not summoned Bobby Nasution himself," he said at the same location.

"So today we are present in front of the KPK council and at the same time submit a report against one of the KPK's task forces to question the independence of the KPK," he continued.
