LPSK Rejects Request For Protection Of Misri Suspect In Murder Of Brigadier MN

MATARAM - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency or LPSK rejected the request for protection of Misri Puspita Sari, who is one of the suspects in the alleged murder of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi alias MN.

"We reject Misri's application," said LPSK Expert Tomi Permana in Mataram, Wednesday, December 3.

He conveyed that the decision had gone through a series of applications. The reason is that there is no material that can be the basis for Misri to obtain protection.

"The information always changes. It is inconsistent. The person concerned also does not know about the incident at all, even though at that time he was at the location," he said.

LPSK has also gone to the field to confirm Misri's statement regarding her excuse for being in the bathroom. This position is the reason Misri did not know why Brigadier Nurhadi drowned in the small pool where he was staying with Kompol Yogi.

"We stayed at the villa where the incident occurred to confirm the statement. If the position is in the bathroom, it is clear that the sound is out. Moreover, the situation in the villa is quiet. It can still be heard from outside the bathroom," said Tomi.

Misri in this case also became a suspect who was subject to Article 221 of the Criminal Code regarding the Obstruction of Justice. Misri is suspected of obstructing the investigation process.

This criminal offense is different from Kompol Yogi and Ipda Aris, who have now been fired as members of the National Police, namely Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder and/or Article 354 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code regarding severe persecution which resulted in the lives of people being lost.

In handling it, Misri's case file is still in the hands of police investigators with the detention status suspended. Misri's file is one step behind the files of Kompol Yogi and Ipda Aris, who are now in the evidentiary stage at trial.

Brigadier Nurhadi died after being found unconscious and drowned in a small pool where Kompol Yogi and Misri were staying in the Gili Trawangan area.

Because there was something odd, namely the finding of bruises and cuts on the deceased's body, the basis for the family asking the police to reveal the cause of Brigadier Nurhadi's death.
