13 Ponorogo Regency Government Employees Examined By KPK, Sugiri Sancoko Regent's Corruption Benang Begins To Be Decomposed

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of bribery and gratuities in Ponorogo Regency, East Java.

There are 13 district government employees who were summoned by investigators today, December 1.

"The investigation was carried out at the Madiun Police," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters, Monday, December 1.

Budi has not yet detailed the matter of the examination of the dozens of people. However, the KPK believes they know the actions of the suspects in this case, one of which is the inactive Regent of Ponorogo Sugiri Sancoko.

"KPK has scheduled witness examinations related to allegations of bribery in the management of positions, bribery of procurement projects, and gratuities within the Ponorogo Regency Government," he said.

The following are 13 Ponorogo Regency Government employees who were examined by investigators: 1. Bayus Abdinata as the Head of the Application and Information of the Ponorogo Regency Communications and Communications Office; 2. Dwi Santoso as the Head of Destinations and Tourism Industry of the Ponorogo Regency Culture and Sports Office; 3. Yayuk Herdianawati as the Head of the Kebudaay Division of the Culture Tourism and Sports Office of Ponorogo Regency; 4. Lis Subangani as the Head of Public Health of the Ponorogo Regency Health Office; 5. Imam Mashudi as the Head of Mutation and Promotion of the Ponorogo District Health Office; 6. Yudiawati Retnaningrum as the Head of the Training and Manpower of the Ponorogo Regency Office; 7. The following are 13 Ponorogo Regency Government employees who were questioned by investigators:

1. Bayus Abdinata as Head of Application and Informatics of the Communications and Information Office of Ponorogo Regency;

2. Dwi Santoso as the Head of Destinations and Tourism Industry of the Youth and Sports Tourism Culture Office of Ponorogo Regency;

3. Yayuk Herdianawati as the Head of the Kebudaay Division of the Tourism and Sports Culture Office of Ponorogo Regency;

4. Lis Suwarni as Head of Public Health of the Ponorogo District Health Office;

5. Imam Mashudi as Head of Mutation and Promotion of the Ponorogo District Health Office;

6. Yudiawati Retnaningrum as Head of Training and Manpower productivity of the Ponorogo Regency Manpower Office;

7. Yusril Susiati as Head of Social Services and Rehabilitation of the Social and Empowerment Service of Women and Child Protection of Ponorogo Regency;

8. dr. Vita Nurhayanti as the Head of Health Services at the Ponorogo District Health Office;

9. Adi Faryanto Sulistiawan as Head of Waste Management and Park of the Environmental Service of Ponorogo Regency;

10. Hendri Sudarsono Head of the Economy and Natural Resources Division of the Regional Research and Innovation Development Planning Agency of Ponorogo Regency;

11. Moh. Syaifudin Zuhri as Head of Health Resources of the Ponorogo District Health Office;

12. Ari Hermawan as Secretary of Balong District, Ponorogo Regency;

13. Cendi Anggawijaya as Secretary of Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency.

The KPK previously named the Regent of Ponorogo Sugiri Sancoko as a suspect along with three other people, namely Agus Pramono who is the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Ponorogo Regency who has served since 2012; Yunus Mahatma as Director of Dr. Harjono Ponorogo Regency; and Sucipto who is a private party partner of Ponorogo Hospital in a work package within Ponorogo Regency.

The determination of the suspect began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Friday, November 7. There were three corruption clusters found by the KPK.

The first is the alleged bribery in the management of positions. Then bribery for work projects at the Ponorogo Hospital and other receipts or gratuities.

In the bribery case for the management of positions, Yunus as Director of RSUD Dr. Harjono Ponorogo Regency knew that Sugiri would replace it since the beginning of the year. So, he prepared a sum of money and handed it over three times.

The first handover was made by Yunus to Sugiri in February 2025 with a nominal value of Rp. 400 million. This money is given through an aide.

Then, in the April-August period, Yunus handed over Rp325 million to Agus Pramono.

Then, he again handed over Rp500 million to Ninik, who was Sugiri's relative in November. Thus, the money received by Sugiri reached Rp900 million.

It didn't stop there, Sugiri also received Rp1.4 billion from a work package project in the Ponorogo Hospital with a value of Rp14 billion. This money, called the KPK, was initially received by Yunus as the Head of the Regional Hospital.

Meanwhile, in the last cluster, it is suspected that Sugiri received gratuities in the form of hundreds of millions of money from the private sector.
