JAKARTA - Yahya Cholil Staquf is no longer the General Chair of PBNU, as stated in Circular Number 4785/PB.02/AII.10.01/99/11/2025 which circulated on Wednesday.

Furthermore, during the vacancy of the general chairman, the PBNU leadership is entirely in the hands of Rais Aam as the supreme leader of Nahdlatul Ulama.

"If Yahya Cholil Staquf has an objection to the decision, then he can use the right to apply to the Nahdlatul Ulama Tahkim Council according to the mechanism that has been regulated in the Nahdlatul Uharya association regulation," the letter said.
