MALANG - Police continue to investigate cases of bullying or bullying of junior high school students in Malang City which went viral on social media. The Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Malang City Police Satreskrim revealed that the incident that occurred in the cemetery area of Sukun Subdistrict was allegedly triggered by a misunderstanding related to love problems.
Head of PPA Satreskrim Malang City Police, Iptu Khusnul Khotimah said the victims and alleged perpetrators were still the same age and were in junior high school.

Not accepting that his girlfriend was said to have called the victim with a special call, the alleged perpetrator then invited some of his friends to come and punish the victim.
"The victim was summoned by the alleged perpetrator and his friends. The point is just a misunderstanding," he added.
In the incident, the victim was hit repeatedly and suffered injuries to several parts of the body, including the left arm. Police are still waiting for the results of the post-mortem from the hospital to ensure the full physical condition of the victim.
The victim is still traumatized by being beaten by many people. Currently, the victim is accompanied by a psychologist from the UPT of the Social Service," explained Khusnul.
The case of bullying a junior high school student in Malang has gone up to the investigation stage. Investigators will again examine a number of witnesses and complete the evidence before the case title.
"The process has entered the fingerprinting stage. We are waiting for the results of the post-mortem and will examine a number of witnesses," he concluded.
Previously, this violent act became public attention after a video of more than 1 minute circulated showing the victim crying in fear. In the video, the victim, wearing a black shirt, appears to be slapped and beaten repeatedly by three perpetrators.
Not only physical violence, the perpetrators also uttered threatening sentences in Javanese with a high tone.
