JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno responded to protests that came from comic Soleh Solihun regarding the rotation of civil servants (PNS) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Soleh complained that the process of reshuffling the positions and positions of civil servants was carried out suddenly. In response to this, Rano denied it. According to Rano, the process of transferring the work of DKI civil servants has been carefully planned.
"When it comes to (the rotation of DKI civil servants) suddenly, it can't be sudden. The process is long," said Rano in West Jakarta, Tuesday, November 25.
Rano emphasized that the plan to evaluate the performance and rotation of the ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, had been prepared since the beginning of leading Jakarta in February 2025. Then, the realization was only carried out simultaneously recently.
"In fact, for six months we were the leader in Jakarta, then we had a rotation. So it's not a short preparation," said Rano.
Previously, Soleh Solihun expressed his complaint regarding the rotation of DKI Provincial Government employees in his personal social media X account. Soleh asked Pramono to improve the system because the employees had just received rotation information the day before.
"Dear Mr. @pramonoung, please improve the employee rotation system at the DKI Provincial Government, especially between agencies. Please tell the heads of the service, don't mind the h-1 inauguration employees. And new employees know where they were moved on the D day of inauguration," wrote @soleksolihun on Thursday, November 20.

According to Soleh, each civil servant of the DKI Provincial Government needs to prepare before being transferred between regional work units (SKPD).
"Although the dki Provincial Government is still the same, if you change offices, it's already different offices. Pak @pramonoung ideally, employees move, there is a one month transition, there is an interview in a new place, and you can see the competence and track record of the work," continued Soleh.
It is known that Pramono rotated the DKI Provincial Government employees on a large scale this month. On Wednesday, November 18, there were 686 administrator officials, supervisors, and sub-group heads who were officially inaugurated after the rotation.
In addition, there are 523 functional officials through the first appointment mechanism, plus 20 types of transfer positions in 14 regional apparatus. Meanwhile, 673 functional teacher officials who were assigned as public principals today were appointed.
"If a sum of today is inaugurated and also two weeks ago, the number of officials appointed at City Hall or in DKI Jakarta is 2,700 people," said Pramono, Wednesday, November 18.
Pramono emphasized that this massive position filling aims to strengthen the foundations of local government, especially at the implementing level which is in direct contact with residents' services.
