KPK Explores Alleged Money Deposit TKA Agents To The Former Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Manpower To Process Foreign Workers' Permits

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the agent in charge of the Foreign Workers' Budget Plan (RPTKA) has finally given money after being blackmailed by the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) Heri Sudarmanto.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the allegations were investigated from two witnesses on Tuesday, November 18. Those examined at that time were Tariyamah as a TKA agent and Director of PT Aneka Jaya Lima Benua, Waskito.

"Witnesses TAR and WK are foreign workers who gave unofficial money because they were allegedly blackmailed by HS," Budi said in a written statement, Thursday, November 19.

Budi said that the extortion was carried out by Heri when he served as Director of PPTKA in 2010-2015 and Director General of Binapenta and PKK in 2015-2017. However, he did not specify how much money the agents asked for.

Heri became a suspect after the KPK developed a case of extortion in the management of RPTKA. An investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued in October.

In the previous case, the KPK named eight suspects in the extortion case for the processing of foreign workers' permits (TKA) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) for the 2019-2024 period.

Two of them were Suhartono and Haryanto who had served as Director General of Manpower Placement and Expansion of Job Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower. They are suspected of having participated in the flow of extortion money from foreign workers whose value reached Rp53.7 billion.

Meanwhile, the other suspect is Wisnu Pramono as Director of PPTKA of the Ministry of Manpower; Devi Anggraeni as Coordinator of the PPTKA Feasibility Test for the period 2020-July 2024 then became Director of PPTKA for the period 2024-2025; Gatot Widiartono as Coordinator of Analysis and Control of Foreign Workers The Directorate of Control of the Use of Foreign Workers of the Ministry of Manpower; and Putri Citra Wahyoe, Jamal Shodiqin, and Alfa Eshad who are staff at the Directorate General of Binapenta and PPK.

From this case, the KPK has confiscated Harley Davidson from the former special staff of Ida Fauziyah while serving as Minister of Manpower, Risharyudi Triwibowo. The big motorbike was already at the KPK Confiscated Property Storage House (Rupbasan), Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang, East Jakarta after being brought by investigators on July 21.

In addition, investigators also confiscated several other assets, including Haryanto's house and rented house in the Cimanggis area, Depok, West Java and in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, West Java.
