BTN Housingpreneur 2025 Roadshow In Surabaya, Opens Opportunities For Future Residential Business Ideas

SURABAYA - BTN Housingpreneur 2025 this time was in Surabaya, continuing the roadshow series, Friday, November 14.

Located at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS), students, architects, developers, and the general public attended the event. BTN opens opportunities for all groups in the city of Heroes to develop innovative residential ideas as well as be connected to the BTN national housing ecosystem.

"Through this 2025 BTN Housingpreneur Roadshow, we want to pave the way for the people of Surabaya to produce innovations in the residential sector. This event is not just a competition, but is a door to a housing ecosystem network that brings together ideas, industry, and property market opportunities in Indonesia," said BTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando in a release received by VOI editorial team, Monday, November 17.

BTN Housingpreneur 2025 is an annual competition that is open to developers, entrepreneurs, architects, students and the general public.

This year, BTN Housingpreneur has the theme "Housing for Nation: Smart, Green, Inclusive". This competition consists of several categories with a total prize of IDR 1.5 billion. Participants were also introduced with various challenges and opportunities in the housing sector, including the growing home needs and the importance of a functional, sustainable, and affordable design approach.

"This is our homework to meet these needs. I appreciate BTN's steps to hold the BTN Housingpreneur and provide opportunities for all circles, especially students to participate in the housing sector," said the Deputy Chancellor for Research, Innovation, Cooperation, and ITS Alumnian, Agus Muhamad Hatta.

The BTN Housingpreneur event is a form of BTN's commitment to build a housing industry ecosystem in Indonesia.

"We hope to continue collaborating with various parties including students, to present affordable houses for all Indonesian people," said BTN's Human Capital Management Division Head, Rahhitasi.

After ITS, Surabaya, BTN will also continue the BTN Housingpreneur 2025 roadshow to North Sumatra University, Medan on November 20, 2025, and Hasanuddin University, Makassar on December 4, 2025.
