Prabowo-Dasco Discusses Sports, Downstream, Political-Security At The Palace

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad at the Merdeka Palace, discussing a number of strategic programs in the fields of sports, downstreaming, politics, and security.

Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya through his social media upload @sekretariat.kabinet, explained that the meeting took place after President Prabowo attended the launch of the learning digitization program at SMPN 4 Bekasi, West Java.

"The meeting discussed several strategic programs in various fields, including: 1. Sports: Plans to build a comprehensive athlete center training facility complex, as well as sending Indonesia's leading sports for intensive training abroad," said Seskab Teddy as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 17.

Seskab explained that for the sports sector, President Prabowo discussed the plan to build a comprehensive athlete center training facility complex, as well as the delivery of Indonesia's leading sports for intensive training abroad.

For the economic sector, the President discussed the economic growth target of at least 8 percent and the determination of policies designed to provide direct benefits to the community.

The President also wants to accelerate the implementation of the downstream program involving the upstream, downstream and active participation sectors of the region which is currently underway.

For the political and security sector, Prabowo and Dasco discussed the latest developments in politics and security, focusing on maintaining stability and a sense of security for the community.

"President Prabowo emphasized that all strategic programs should be realized immediately so that the benefits are quickly felt by the wider community and foster optimism and a sense of security," said Seskab Teddy.
