Malang Police Examine 3 Child Bullying Witnesses At Sukurn Cemetery

MALANG - The Women and Children's Service Unit (PPA) of the Malang City Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Polresta) examined three witnesses regarding the alleged bullying of a child that occurred around the access stairs to a funeral in the Sukun area.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Malang City Police, Ipda Yudi Risdiyanto, said that the three witnesses were those who were suspected of knowing firsthand about the incident of bullying of the victim.

"There were three witnesses examined by the PPA Unit today, they are residents around the scene of the case who allegedly knew about the incident," Yudi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 17.

The examination of the three is part of an investigation into the alleged bullying case in Malang City after the police officially received a report from the victim, on Wednesday (12/11).

The local police have also asked for information from two other people, namely the victim, who is 13 years old and her biological mother, on Saturday (15/11).

Asked about the results of the victim's post-mortem, Yudi said it had not yet been published. Therefore, his party still cannot explain the injuries suffered by the victim due to the bullying.

"We are still waiting from the hospital," he said.

Malang City Police confirmed that until now they are still investigating the motive for this alleged bullying.

Allegations of bullying in Malang City that occurred in Sukun or to be precise around the access ladder to the cemetery area are known through an amateur video uploaded on one of the Instagram social media accounts, today.

In the video, the victim of bullying is shown to be a girl. She wore black clothes and gray pants sitting on one part of the steps while holding a cell phone.

The victim at that time suddenly got a blow from one of the girls on the left cheek.

The alleged bullying did not stop there, in a standing position the victim was slapped again on the lips. In a state of crying and covering his face, he again got a blow on the right cheek.

It didn't stop there, at the end of the video there were two girls again beating several times together.
