South Tangerang Police Examine Six Witnesses Regarding The Alleged Bullying Case That Killed Junior High School Students

South Tangerang Police revealed the progress of handling the alleged bullying case against Muhammad Hisyam (13), a class VII student at SMPN 19 Ciater, Serpong, who died after being hospitalized. Investigators ensure that the process of disclosing facts continues.

Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Agil Sahril, said that investigators from the South Tangerang Police Satreskrim had previously made efforts to clarify by trying to meet the victim several times. The process was carried out with the victim's family and involved KPAI, the Education Office, and UPTD PPA Tangsel City.

"Investigators took the initiative to make information reports as the basis for the investigation. We have also asked for information from six witnesses, including teaching teachers," said Agil in a written statement on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Agil added that the South Tangerang Police Chief expressed his deep condolences for the death of the victim and ensured that the handling of the case was carried out professionally.

"The South Tangerang Police Chief is sorry and confirms that the investigation process will be carried out professionally," he concluded.

Previously, a student of SMP Negeri 19 South Tangerang City (Tangsel) with the initials MH finally died. The child of the victim who reported the bullying or bullying case was treated for more than a week at Fatmawati Hospital, Jakarta.

"At half past six after the dawn prayer, it was reported that Hisyam was gone," said Alvian, the attorney for the victim's family.

Furthermore, the tragic incident that happened to MH began with the bullying that took place in his school environment on October 20, 2025, right during rest hours. Based on reports, the victim experienced serious physical violence in the school room, namely being beaten with an iron bench in the head.

The day after the incident, the victim began to complain of the intense pain caused by the incident. The victim admitted that he had often been targeted by the alleged perpetrator.

The forms of violence received by victims varied, ranging from being beaten to being kicked.

The victim was initially treated at a private hospital in Tangsel City. However, because his condition continued to worsen, MH was finally referred to Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, to get more intensive medical treatment before finally dying.
