TANGERANG - TPI Soekarno-Hatta Special Class I Immigration Office secured six Foreign Citizens (WNA) who were proven to have violated immigration rules in a joint operation in 2025 in the Cengkareng Timur area, West Jakarta.
Head of the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office, Galih P. Kartika Perdhana, said the six foreigners consisted of five Pakistani men with the initials RMA (27), MA (20), AQ (41), MS (22), and ZM (27). They allegedly gave incorrect information to obtain a visa or residence permit.
"Meanwhile, a foreigner from Nigeria with the initials CBM (46) is suspected of not being able to show a passport and has been overstayed for more than 60 days," said Galih in Tangerang, Antara, Friday, November 14.
All of these foreigners are now being taken to the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office and are undergoing examination by investigators for Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement.
Five foreigners from Pakistan were charged with Article 123 letter (a) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, with a maximum imprisonment of five years and a fine of up to IDR 500 million.
Meanwhile, CBM from Nigeria was charged with Article 116 in conjunction with Article 71 of the same Law, with a maximum imprisonment of three months or a maximum fine of Rp. 25 million. He was also subject to administrative sanctions in the form of deportation and deterrence in accordance with Article 78 number (3).
Galih explained that the operation was carried out based on the Task Force of the Head of the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office Number WIM.10.IMI.1-GR.04.02-16023 and 16024 dated November 11, 2025. The location of the operation is at the City Park Apartment, Jalan Raya Kapuk, Cengkareng Timur, West Jakarta.
