ASN Distributes Ecstasy In South OKU Residents Of South Sumatra Arrested, 96 Barbuk Points Secured

SOUTH SUMATRA - Police confiscated 96 ecstasy pills from a man with the initials HN (49), a member of the state civil apparatus (ASN) Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) South. The perpetrator HN is a dealer.

"HN was arrested along with suspect KR (44) on Saturday (8 November)," said South OKU Police Chief AKBP I Made Redi Hartana accompanied by Narcotics Head, AKP Alimin in Muaradua, Tuesday, confiscated by Antara.

He said the two suspects were arrested while distributing ecstasy at a celebration event in Tanjung Tebat Village, Muaradua Kisam District.

"We received information from the public that there was circulation of ecstasy in a celebration party around Muaradua Kisam District," he said.

From the suspect's hands, the police confiscated 96 ecstasy pills of various types including Logo Grenades, Frogs, Heineken, LV, Cages, and Transformers.

In addition, the police also secured a black Mitsubishi L300 car with number BG 8479 VA, a silver wallet, a black plastic bag, and a black Vivo 1940 Merk mobile phone.

The two suspects will be charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

"The two suspects have now been detained at the South OKU Police Headquarters for further legal processing," he said.

Currently, his party is still developing the case to uncover the narcotics network that supplies illicit goods to the suspects.
