JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) welcomes the Government of Indonesia's ongoing efforts to strengthen the national digital ecosystem, including efforts to merge GoTo with Grab.

GoTo ensures its commitment to support and comply with government policies and regulations, which aim to build an efficient, fair, and sustainable industry for all stakeholders, including driver-partners, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and consumers throughout Indonesia.

"GoTo is committed to always supporting government directives and policies," said Director of Legal and Group Corporate Secretary RA Koesoemoharani as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 10.

On the other hand, Koesoemoharani revealed that until now there has been no decision or agreement regarding the planned merger between GoTo and Grab.

He ensured that every step taken by the company would always comply with the laws and regulations that apply to public companies.

"By continuing to prioritize the creation of long-term value for shareholders. As well as maintaining the best interests of driver-partners, MSME partners, customers, and all stakeholders," said Koesoemoharani.

He said the company is currently in the strongest position in recent years, supported by strategic plans and progress towards sustainable profitability, as reflected in the performance of the third quarter of 2025.

"We are very grateful for this achievement and grateful for the support and trust of driver-partners, MSME partners, and consumers throughout Indonesia who have enabled this achievement," said Koesoemoharani.

Regarding the agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), he ensured that it was not related to any corporate action plans and further information would be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the regulations in force when the company summoned the EGMS on November 25, 2025.

"The main directors, directors, and management continue to be fully committed to acting professionally and prioritizing the interests of all stakeholders," said Koesoemoharani.

He emphasized that the company's current focus remains on execution in order to achieve strategic targets, in order to create long-term value for shareholders and the entire GoTo ecosystem.

Previously, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said there was a plan to merge GoTo and Grab. "That's the plan," said Prasetyo.

Prasetyo said the discussion of the merger was part of a wider discussion regarding the draft presidential regulation (perpres) related to online motorcycle taxis.

He said the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (Danantara Indonesia) would be involved in the merger process of the two companies. "Approximately (Danantara is involved)," said Prasetyo.

He conveyed that the plan to merge the two companies was still in the form-finding stage, which could be a merger or acquisition.

"Yes, the scheme is still being sought," he said.
