JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry has granted operational permits and mobility for industrial activities (IOMKI) to many companies in areas with the status of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).

Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Achmad Sigit Dwiwahjono, explained that the industrial sectors that already have IOMPI are the agro industry, the pharmaceutical chemical industry, textiles, metals, machinery, transportation equipment, electronic equipment, small and medium scale and various industries, industrial estates, and industrial services.
Sigit said, the reason his party gave the permit was because he had to comply with the Circular of the Minister of Industry Number 4 of 2020 to continue to guarantee industrial operations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Head of the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy (Disnaker) Agency Andri Yansyah asked the Ministry of Industry to re-evaluate the companies that have received IOMKI.
