JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said it had conducted a search and pursuit of those arrested in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Monday, November 3.

One of them is Riau Governor Abdul Wahid, who is currently in the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"On behalf of Brother AW who is a regional head or governor, the team conducted a search and chase which was then secured at a cafe located in Riau," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 4 night.

In addition, Budi said, a search was also carried out on Tata Maulana, who is a private party as well as a confidant of Riau Governor Abdul Wahid and Dani M. Nursala as an expert for the Governor of Riau.

"And then this afternoon Brother DN surrendered and is currently being investigated," he said.

"Therefore, currently the investigation of the 10 people is still ongoing," continued Budi.

As previously reported, the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Riau Province on Monday, November 3. There were 10 people who were arrested at that time and there was Rp1 billion in rupiah denominations, US dollars to Poundsterling.

Later, nine people were brought by the KPK to undergo examination. However, it has not been detailed about the transaction that led to the silent operation or the suspect who was named.
