The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to bring ten people caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Riau Province to the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, November 4.

Among them were Riau Governor Abdul Wahid, who was suspected of being involved in the alleged corruption case within the provincial government.

"Currently it is still at the location (Riau), so the team plans to take it to the Red and White KPK building, possibly scheduled for tomorrow (14 November)," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to the media crew in Jakarta, Monday, November 3.

According to him, the arrest operation caught about 10 people who were state administrators. A number of money was also secured as initial evidence. "Currently there are about 10 people who have been arrested in the arrest activity," he said.

The certainty of Riau Governor Abdul Wahid is included in the arrested party confirmed by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rochcahyanto. "That's right (Riau Governor)," said Fitroh when confirmed, Monday night.

Budi added that the KPK enforcement team was still working in the field to carry out an initial examination of the arrested parties. Later, after the initial inspection is complete, all of them will be taken to Jakarta to undergo further examination at the KPK's Red and White House.

The KPK has 1x24 hours to determine the legal status of the 10 people, including whether to be named a suspect.

Previously, initial information stated that this OTT was related to projects within the Riau Province Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office. However, the KPK has not provided official confirmation regarding the construction of the case and details of the project being investigated.
