JAKARTA The Jak41 Microtrans public transportation service on the Pulogadung Village of Melayu was forced to temporarily stop operating after allegedly being intercepted by a regular transportation operator (angkot) in the Jalan Persahabatan Raya area, East Jakarta, on Saturday afternoon (1/11/2025). This refusal incident made the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Syafrin Liputo, intervene.

Syafrin Liputo stated that his party would follow up on the incident by checking the field and immediately inviting related parties to have a dialogue and find solutions.

"Of course we will discuss this, we will check its position, and we will discuss it with the owners or regular operators," Syafrin told reporters, Monday (3/11).

Claims On The Tumpang Tindih Route Behind The Rejection Action

According to a report received by the Transportation Agency, the refusal occurred because a number of regular transport drivers felt that their route was located with the Jak41 Microtrans route.

However, Syafrin emphasized that the Jak41 route has actually been adjusted by the DKI Provincial Government so that overlapping with regular angkot routes does not occur.

"Regarding Jak41, we will indeed check in the field regarding this incident because the information is that there is a closed regular transportation ... But actually, if we look at the whole thing, the Jak41 route has been diverted. So, he is not adjacent," explained Syafrin.

He also highlighted that Jak41 is not a new service. This route has been operating since a few months ago without any significant problems. Although the route is officially different, there is pressure from the regular transportation driver so that the Microtrans service is diverted.

Passenger Safety Is A Priority

Previously, the Head of the Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, explained that the termination of the operation of the Jak41 Route Microtrans service (Pulogadung) which took place since Saturday at 15.47 WIB was a decision to maintain the safety of customers and officers in the field.

Ayu ensured that Transjakarta officers together with security forces and related agencies were still at the location to mediate with the angkot driver.

"Transjakarta continues to coordinate with various parties and is committed to restoring services, so that Jak41 Route services can immediately reopen and serve customers normally," Ayu concluded, although there is no certainty on the date when the Microtrans fleet will resume operations.
