Polda Metro Jaya detained the Director of PT Melani Citra Permata (Mecimapro) with the initials FDM in connection with the alleged fraud and embezzlement of funds at the K-Pop TWICE group concert in Jakarta on December 23, 2023.

The Head of the Public Information Sub Division of the Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak, said that his party had examined a number of witnesses and named FDM as suspects.

"We have examined nine witnesses and one expert. The person concerned has been detained, meaning he is a suspect," said Reonald in Jakarta, Thursday, October 30.

He explained that the case file had entered phase I and was being investigated by the public prosecutor (JPU).

"Hopefully in the near future it will be P21. If there are still shortcomings, we will complete them. Hopefully, P21 will be ready soon," he said.

This case was reported to Polda Metro Jaya by PT Media Inspiration Bangsa (MIB), as the party in collaboration with Mecimapro in holding the TWICE concert in Jakarta.

The report is registered with the Number LP/B/187/I/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated January 10, 2025.

"FDM is strongly suspected of committing fraud or fraudulent acts and/or embezzlement, as referred to in Article 378 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code," said Reonald.

Meanwhile, PT MIB's attorney, Aldi Rizki, explained that the case began with the cooperation in financing the TWICE 5th World Tour Ready to Be concert at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on December 23, 2023.

"The reported party was reported for allegedly committing fraud and embezzlement of funds provided by PT MIB," said Aldi.

According to him, the reporting party had tried to resolve the problem amicably, but did not receive a response from the FDM.

"The reporter has sent a letter of summons for refund and cancellation of the financing agreement, but the effort did not receive a good response from the reported party," he said.

As a result of the alleged act, PT MIB admitted that it suffered financial losses of up to tens of billions of rupiah and finally reported the case to the police.
