JAKARTA - A number of Satpol PP of Tanjung Priok Sub-district have controlled street vendors (PKL) of lesehan karaoke stalls in the Lake Sunter area, North Jakarta.

Control targets a lesehan karaoke shop equipped with active speakers to sing in the Sunter Lake area, North Jakarta.

This control is a follow-up to public reports that complain and are restless about the existence of the lesehan karaoke place until late at night.

In addition, the enforcement activity was carried out as an enforcement of Regional Regulation 8 of 2007 concerning public order.

Head of the Tanjung Priok District Police Unit, Evita Wahyu Pancawati, said that in her activities the street vendors were selling while carrying active speakers for karaoke until late at night, which disturbed the public.

"Those we have ordered are street vendors who carry active speakers, due to public complaints about noise through the Jaki application," said Evita when confirmed, Sunday, October 26, 2025.

In the control, said Evita, his party did not transport the owner. However, the officers secured the active speakers along with the microphones from the street vendors.

In addition, there was an interesting tug-of-war when officers wanted to secure the speaker.

"We secured 19 active speakers and 4 microphones. Had to pull the active speaker to the merchant," he said.

Evita menyebut, Perda 8 Tahun 2007 itu mengatur perilaku masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman, termasuk larangan membuat kebisingan yang mengganggu ketertiban umum.

A number of speaker evidences were secured at the Cakung Satpol PP Main Warehouse.

"If the violator wants to take it, please make a letter to the Kelurahan and City Satpol PP," he said.

Evita said the Regional Regulation 8 of 2007 regulates people's behavior to create a safe and comfortable environment, including a ban on making noise that disturbs public order.
