JAKARTA - Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) met with the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung at the DKI Jakarta City Hall. During the meeting, Gus Ipul initiated the integration of social data, community empowerment, and public schools.
Gus Ipul emphasized that currently the central government is running the One Data Indonesia program. According to him, this data is the basis for various government social programs.
"So far, the government does not have single data or one Indonesian data. Since last February, the President has issued Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2025, where now all data owned by the government is managed by BPS, including local government data," said Gus Ipul at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, October 24.
With the application of this one data, Gus Ipul hopes that there will be no more overlaps of social assistance recipients. He said this data integration agreement was an important foothold so that the central and regional government programs strengthened each other, including to detect families who could advance from recipients of aid to be participants of empowerment programs.
"If our data is the same, then later the intervention will strengthen each other. Our programs are synergized, integrated. God willing, if we do it continuously, we will be able to bring this program on target and have an impact," he said.
In addition to the distribution of social assistance, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also agreed to expand the community empowerment program. Gus Ipul conveyed the plan to form a joint team to determine the annual target.
"Every year there may be a number of families receiving social assistance who go up to class. They no longer receive social assistance, but increase to empowerment programs," he said.
Another program that is being discussed is the construction of the People's School. According to Gus Ipul, currently there are three locations for the People's School in Jakarta, namely Pondok Indah, Bambu Apus, and Pasar Rebo, which are still using temporary buildings belonging to the Ministry of Social Affairs.
"Later, we hope that the Governor will provide land support for permanent schools or permanent public schools. The land is provided by DKI, the picture has been made by the President's team. God willing, if the land is suitable, it will be built by PU using APBN funds," said Gus Ipul.

Responding to this, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his support for the three agendas. Pramono revealed that he would follow up so that there would be no more overlaps between regional and central programs.
"We are happy to open all the data we have. That KJP, KJMU, bleaching diplomas for people with disabilities, the elderly, and so on, the Jakarta government does have programs that are more or less actually the same as the central government," said Pramono.
In addition, Pramono ensured that the DKI Provincial Government would immediately prepare land for the construction of the People's School and disclose all social data owned by Jakarta so that it could be integrated with national data.
"For people's schools, the DKI Jakarta Government will immediately close it, decide, propose areas that the DKI Jakarta Government will indeed be able to prepare for its land. But entirely those that will build are the APBN, the central government," he added.
