The illegal action was carried out in a warehouse on Jalan Raya Manding, Kebunan Village, Sumenep City District.

"We arrested four people while in the warehouse where the voting was located," he said.

During the raid, the police confiscated a number of evidences, including 33 3-kilogram LPG cylinders which still contained gas, 11 3 kilograms of empty tubes, 12 12 12-kilogram empty tubes, and 10 12 kilograms of cylinders that already contained gas made from oplosan.

In addition, gas transfer equipment such as pipes, diesel gas, tube seal, and one three-wheeled vehicle used for distribution were also confiscated.

Currently, the suspects are undergoing intensive examination at the Sumenep Police Satreskrim.

"The threat is prison terms and fines," said Widiarti.

He also appealed to the public to immediately report if they knew of suspicious activities related to the sale of subsidized gas.
